A painless, safe, and accurate series of CT Scans can tell you whether or not you are at risk for heart attack, lung cancer, and abdomen cancer, as well as diagnose cysts, arthritis of the spine, and aneurysms.

This test is a combination of all screening tests we offer (except for Virtual Colonoscopy):  screening lung CT, screening abdomen / pelvis CT, and cardiac calcium scoring. Please see each individual description of these procedures. Screening full body  CT does not cover the entire body. This scan covers from the top of the chest through the bottom of the pelvis, not including the head, neck, arms, and legs. 

By evaluating and measuring the calcium build up in your coronary arteries, we can calculate your risk of heart attack, and give you the opportunity to seek treatment and make appropriate life-style changes. By scanning your lungs, abdomen, and pelvis we can evaluate your internal organs and lungs for cancer and other serious disorders that may not be causing symptoms... and give you peace of mind that you are now in charge of your health. 

Because these are screening tests in patients who are not having symptoms, they usually are not covered by insurance.  However, if you are having symptoms of heart, lung, or abdomen disease, you should contact your doctor immediately for an evaluation. If you doctor orders a lung CT scan with and without contrast or abdominal CT with contrast the exam should be covered by your insurance.

Also PLEASE NOTE THAT Screening CT examinations of the Heart, Lungs, and Abdomen are not intended to take the place of your usual routine doctor's evaluations, but rather to give you and your doctor additional information on which to base lifestyle change and treatment decisions.
